Both intrapersonal and interpersonal communication have very complex meanings; although both seem like the same word they are not. When we interact with our self, talk to our self, think to our self this can all be counted as intrapersonal communication. Where as interpersonal communication is when we communicate with people in general but face to face. I feel like interpersonal communication isn't as common as it used to be because of how much the media controls us. We don't even notice it but we base our life with avoiding interpersonal communication. We'd rather talk on the phone, send a text or email. Speaking from personal experiences, I like speaking face to face to people, especially because there could be many miscommunications when texting or speaking on the phone. When speaking face to face, you can see facial expressions, hand gestures and even body language which help better understand how the person feels. I love intrapersonal communication because its sacred. Whatever you think, imagine, or remember stays to yourself (unless you share it with others of course) which I love because its kind of like bonding time with yourself. Both these forms of communication are probably my favorite because of how raw they are.
